The Inflations Series
Digital Paintings
This series of digital paintings (2008-2010) shows a world in which all values and dreams have been narrowed down to attractively presented clichés. Subsequently even our deepest and most profound needs suffer inflation. By placing inflatable party cushions and air balloons, (which by the way all really do exist) into our familiar suburban surroundings I aim to make this alienation and inflation palpable.
