Cats Portrait for private collection

For this cats portrait commission I received a lot of pictures of the cats. Which of the pictures I chose or how I would compose the painting was entirely up to me. I used elements of the wallpaper and floor pattern of the house of the cats owners and build an imaginary playful environment with it. I wanted the cats to be alive with the focus of heightened attention for a prey. In this case the prey is a small yellow ball suspended in the air.
